I need to post more often!

Then I wouldn't have to upload so many photos at once! Oh well, it makes for a more interesting post.
So it was my little man's birthday last Wednesday, he is now the ripe old age of 2. But oh so cute with it! Look at those big eyes, you have no idea how many people he can twist around his finger with those! People spend most of their time fetching him lollies!

He managed to score some great goodies... even he was surprised how much he got!

I hope you had a fantastic day baby! I am so thankful to be your mother and am so astounded at how you are already such a beautiful little man. Every morning when you come into bed and cuddle me, saying 'Hi Mummy!' it makes me melt- even if I can barely open my eyes because it's so early! I look forward to watching you grow my sweet baby and sharing many more happy years together :)

Quick move on before hormones make me bawl!!

On Saturday night I went to Bendigo for a friend's hen's night. It was a really great night/afternoon. We had to dress the hen in a news paper wedding dress before going bowling- we did a good job because it managed to stay on the whole time :) Sadly I forgot my camera so don't have a pic. I stole this one from facebook... you can guess which one's me by the bowling ball in my belly (grey shirt)! And that's my sister next to me in the black dress and belt. The others are all going to be the hen's sister in laws.

The poor hen had to do so many dares at the pub later- like asking a random guy to give her his jocks... he did by the way. He he.

And last week I got my new bench from hubby for valentines. Oh I love it!!! So much space! This is a crap pic but it's so big and wide. So wide in fact that now with my belly I can't reach the other side. So my very thoughtful Dad bought me that step you can see on the floor, it makes a big difference- thanks dad!

What have I been doing on my new bench you ask? Well! Many wonderful things have been taking place: The new quilt for Bub...

Orders...

More clippie hangers and clippies...

More baby burp cloths, girly ones this time (someone's gotta have a girl!)...

Fixing Bub no. 1's quilt which didn't take too well to the washing machine (any ideas how to fix this?)...

So there you go, another long post, sorry about that! But just to finish off, here's my gorgeous boy again, at his most innocent- asleep!

P.s I think the shop will be open again tomorrow so feel free to drop by!

Shame about the quilt! If you iron some special blouse interfacing over it to patch the hole and stop it getting bigger, then applique over it, or iron on something using vliesofix (spelling???) you should be able to cover it without too much fuss. Good luck!

Glad to see your son had a wonderful birthday - 2 year olds are such a great age! Love the quilt you are making for the new baby - great fabric choices.

The studio looks great. I have a great creative space too, i just wish I could have it enclosed in a room, or garage, as it is, you see it almost as soon as you walk in the front door & it is never tidy, no matter how hard i try!
