Forgive me...

I'm sorry I haven't been keeping up with blogging the last 2 weeks. It's been a hell of a fortnight. On Friday after work my mum and I went down to Melbourne to pick up my Dad from the airport. His plane got in at about 12:20 am and we got there at about 1am, because we knew he still had to go through customs.
He came out at about 2:30 am. They'd lost his bag. He looked exhausted and had a tummy bug. But otherwise no worse for wear. We then drove 3 hours home, so I finally fell into bed at about 4:30 - 5 am. EXHAUSTED!!
Then I was woken up at about 8am by a certain little man and his father kicking a football inside the house! Grrrr.... yes I am actually growling. So please excuse me while my eyes hang out of my head.
Anyway... Look at the beautiful plate Dad brought me back, hand painted and signed on the back. He also had another 2 for my Mum and sister. Mum's was huge and had beautiful raised glazing. It's lucky he had them in his hand luggage otherwise they'd be who knows where right now.

On Wednesday I went to Bendigo to get the boy's outfits for the wedding. God I hate making big decisions... So everyone just better suck it up and be happy with what they get. :) And I can't show any pics yet but lets just say the shoes are labeled 'distressed crocodile' . They look smashing! :)

On a completely different note... tonight is the first time Aussie Bob has to go to bed with the side of his cot off. So if he wishes he can get out. And he wishes. so far 18 times... wait make that 19 now. Hmmm.... not so sure about this. Can I keep him locked in the cot at night for the rest of his life do you think? They are certainly useful if one desires free time after the kids bed time. I could get one to keep my sister in so she doesn't go out every night and wipe herself off!! :)

We're big on cutting deals at our house.... and the deal is that if our little treasure can't STAY in her big girl's bed we'll take it back to Ikea and reassemble the cot. That seems to work so far.... wondering how long it'll take her to wise up...?

Thanks for popping into my blog.
