No, not interesting, actually riveting with metal.
I learned this new trick from an online tutorial (which I can't find now).
AND ITS FUN!
Drill holes in stuff, stick some thick wire through, and whack it until they're pulled together! What could be more fun than whacking stuff?! :)
So this was my first riveting project:
See the rivets through the copper?
And this is the underside
And my hand made clasp too
This one was definitely a good time. I get to take out all my frustrations in whacking and still have something pretty at the end :)

wow, that is just gorgeous!
That looks great and I must agree that there is nothing better for frustration that whacking. My family dont understand how relaxing I find belting my spoons flat.
