Making making making...

Mmm... a day to myself, to do whatever I please. Well for a few hours anyway ;)
I was going to try the baby snuggler pattern from my last post but I still can't figure out how to make it print out to the right size. I might just make my own pattern me thinks.

So instead I made these:

I got these 3 pillow cases from the oppy this week, they are new and made out of a terry toweling fabric. They are the perfect size to use as change pads or as over the shoulder burp cloths. I appliqued them and made sure to sew both sides together. Obviously we've chosen a name starting with 'N' but you'll need to wait a little while to find out what it is ;)

I also want to show of my other oppy purchase. This little bucket thing came with all these paints inside for $3. There are 10 different dimensional fabric paints and also 13 different glass paints (lead light kind of effect). Not too bad for $3 hey?!! Cant wait to try them all out!

Lastly I had a job to do. Pack the hospital bag for the baby. So many tiny little outfits and blankets and nappies and socks. All so cute. I can't believe I'll be using them so soon!
I'm as ready as I could be- ummm except that I haven't packed a bag for myself yet. Better do that tomorrow.
