Oh I feel like I've been hit by several trucks. Apart from feeling crappy because of the flu, I had to get up at 3am this morning. I've had such bad back pain this time around. But last night and today have been horrible. Nothing budges it, no pain killers have even made a dent.
The strange thing is that it's not my lower back, it's higher up at the base of my ribs. And so painful because it spreads around my ribs so it feels like a very tight belt. I think baby has found a nerve with his feet.
But I really want to know if anyone has had this before? What did you do to help it? I've tried voltaren, hot baths, pain killers, massages, heat packs... nothing seems to help at all and laying down makes it much worse. Please let me know if you've got a suggestion, at this point I'll try anything!

With my last baby, Maya was sideways and to cut a long story short, when she finally moved at 37 weeks it felt like I had done sit ups all night. Might be a lot of moving with not much space? Good luck - not long to go!!
James decided to do a flip and turn not long before he was born and it was horrible. Lots of pain and I felt bruised all over. Had an ultrasound (scheduled) and went to the Doctor the next day and he had turned the right way without me feeling him at all. Little horror. Good luck. As Rachel said - you don't have long to go.
I think you've already tried everything I could of suggested! A bit hard to rest if you can't lie down comfortably.
