Another giveaway- the rings have arrived!! And other stuff...

No slacking around here! I've been doing stuff and I can prove it!
Some orders:

Making my new mini catalogs on Photoshop- they'll be going out with every order from now on:
Mother's day gift for my Mother in Law:

Shoes for my cousin's little boy- he has really high arches and they can't find any shoes to fit him. So hopefully these will do the job:

New envelopes for sending orders- I think they're pretty cool. I found an old style comic book of Alice in Wonderland at the oppy for 10c!

I don't know where I saw it, but on a blog somewhere I read about a mum who wrote down small things about her kids and put them into a jar. Later she would put them in the baby book.
What a great idea- I have missed putting some things into Aus's baby book because I haven't had time to sit down and do it. So I got a big jar from the oppy for 50c and decorated it a little bit.

Inside the jar I've put blank business cards in different colours and a sharpie (tied to the jar to prevent Hubby from taking it away- he has a habit of doing that). It will sit in the kitchen and when something funny/memorable happens we can write it down and put it in the jar.
Then instead of going and writing everything in their baby books I've decided to get some business card folders with the clear pockets. I'll just put them all in date order and it should make an interesting time line for them to look through when they're older.

My projects for tomorrow are a nursing cover and perhaps a dummy clip or 2.

Okay, the moment you've all been waiting for.... Rings!!

These are sterling silver and I get them through my local Jeweller's. The ones I had ordered before were horrible quality- but these are gorgeous.
I'll have 2 thickness sizes available- the thinner one is 4mm and the thicker one is 5mm (more a man's thickness). The stamped one in the picture is the thinner.
Tomorrow they'll be available in the shop- but unfortunately I will not be able to fill orders of these for Mother's day (unlike all my other products). Unless your mum is happy to get her's the week after.
Ok now down to the business of a giveaway... The one in the above picture is stamped 'stay calm & carry on'- as in the famous poster (I think it's also very appropriate for mothers!)
I hate stamping things and then just letting them hang around after the photos have been taken. So the ring in the picture is the one up for grabs.
Want to win it?
You will need to blog about this giveaway and then post the link in the comments on this post. The winner will be randomly drawn this Tursday night at 8pm.
Good luck to all!!

I really like the jewelry. I have blogged about your fabulous giveaway.
I could definitely do with a ring that reminds me to stay calm, particularly today. I had so much to do, as well as taking care of bub, and even though so much was done, I kinda feel as though nothing did get done. Does that make any sense?

Hiya, I'm not entering - just wondering if you will take orders for these gorgeous rings at some time...

LOVE the idea of the business cards and then just putting them in a folder. That's definitely working smarter not harder. I love the ring too with the stamping on it - a very apt statement for mothers.

Thanks for the tutorial a while back on the ribbon roses! I really must give them a go. I have an idea! My Mum and Dad recently had their 25th anniversary, and Dad wanted to buy Mum a "DEAREST" Ring. We searched and searched, but still have yet to find one that is delicate enough to fit on Mums finger. She's such a tiny little thing, her thumb is smaller than my little finger! I was thinking you might like to make a Dearest Ring for your shop. you know, Diamond, Emerald, Amythest, Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire, Turquoise. Anyway, just a thought!

Good Luck to everyone in your giveaway, and it's nice to find another Aussie blogger!
