A 'fart' costume and other escapades...

Phew! She was a hot one today, apparently it was only 33 but for some reason it felt like much more to me. We went to the Lake for a bit of R & R. There was a wedding held next door to our holiday house last night so everyone was there for the morning after BBQ. Including this little cutie, her name is Mila and I work with her Daddy. She is only 4 months younger than Aus and very much a water baby!
J was called on Friday and asked if he could man the bar at the wedding and he agreed. So this morning I got up at 2am, got Aus up and put him in the car and drove the 15 mins to the wedding to pick him up, 15 mins back. Boy, am I tired today. Oh well, at least I got all the first hand goss from the Barman, including how many women he thought were flirting with him over the bar! I let him think that... ;p

I also got stuck into the giveaway prizes which are now ready for the adventure to their new homes. Don't scroll down if you are one of the giveaway winners, you'll spoil it!
The family initail necklace:

The bracelet (the winner also chose to have the initails of her family):

And this dear friends is a new design I have been working on! I made it for my sister as a prototype. I used what is called 'dapping' (i think) to make the disks into dome shapes. I love this look, I seems to catch the light so much better. Let me know what you think?

I am also working on something else, an idea I've had for a while. I've managed to collect a lot of old silver spoons because they facinate me. Such intricate patterns and beautiful shapes. I was thinking of straightening them into bangles and stamping on them. I'll need to figure out the particulars but I think it can work!

Last but not least, a lesson. This, people, is how to dress like a lady like 'fart', as demonstrated by my lovely sister. She had to go to an 'F' party and this was actually my mother's idea. She had a kids' fart bomb and all! So when your child needs to dress like 'fluffy off the chain', here's some inspiration!

Hope you had a great weekend!

Thanks so much Kristie! I am wearing my bracelet all the time and my family love it that I chose their initials. I love the little jingle sound of the beads on the disc. Love the packaging too!
