I went to market today, only one order. So to make myself feel better I want to give away something to a lucky blogger (or 2!). To win all you have to do is leave a comment on this post and tell me the most crazy/funny/fantastic present you ever received or gave to someone. The winner will be drawn out of the hat on New Years Eve so you have a little while to enter.
But here's how you can get more entries: just post about this giveaway on your blog and you will have 2 extra entries (just let me know you have done so).
What will the winner get? This:
A Sterling Silver Necklace with the initials of your family!
(Up to 6 little disks with crystal colours of your choice)
Not enough you say? Well... I thought there should be a second winner. This one will be chosen on how funny/weird/outrageous their present was. I'll chose the one I liked best. This winner will get:
The disk can say anything you like (as long as it fits). Colours can be chosen by the winner.
So start entering! I really want to make 2 bloggers happy in the New Year!
If you want to have a look at some of the other jewellery I make check out this post.
I've done some more pricing for more styles I've come up with, so hopefully they'll be going up in the next 2 days.
Hope you are all ready for the BIG DAY next week! Love Christmas time!

I don't really think it is weird, but I gave my nieces each a handmade wooden dog house, a for with a wardrobe, dog bed and bone (all crocheted or sewn by me)....and dog treat! Ha ha ha, okay the dog treats are paper, but very cute. Your work is beautiful, sorry about only one order, I am sure thing will pick up in January.
bummer...
but great giveaway, your work is so lovely!
oh & I forgot to say the strangest gift I have given is a set of voodoo dolls that I made as a gift...
What a lovely giveaway.
The craziest thing I ever received was when my sister put my cheap crappy christmas present inside a mobile phone box... and I actually fell for it and thought that she actually bought me a mobile phone.
PS I'm posting it on my blog but don't give me the extra entries because I've already won far too many beautiful giveaways!
This may not count, as I have a couple of examples of gifts received by others, not me ...
When my husband was ten years old, he was given a Knitting Nancy by his grandmother - not exactly the kind of thing most 10 y.o. boys are thrilled to receive....
and my friend's grandmother gave her a pair of rubber gloves (yes, the kind you use for washing dishes) for Christmas a couple of years ago. Classic!
CK works hard every year to come up with a themed Chritsmas for. One year it was a bathroom theme and included a big bath sponge in the shape of Dipsy the Teletubbie! Another year it was cooking and laid out in a path leading to the tree were 'kitchen thungs' - a bag of flour, box of eggs, cake tin, pasta maker, etc, culminating in a fabulous, HUGE glass spaghetti jar!
Weirdest I have given? Hmmm.... on year there was a wrapped cheesecake under the tree for him...
I came over from CurlyPops - give her the extra entries anyway - she is a nice lady :-)
Great giveaway!! My oddest Xmas present was from my brother when I was about seven. He was thirteen and thought he was clever.... I found a massive box under the tree for me. Inside it was a box, inside that was a box, inside that another box.... you get the idea... six boxes inside each other and last of all there was a colouring in book aimed at three year olds. I was sooo not impressed!
I can't recall any really strange presents, but my most meaningful present was a hand built timber blanket box with an engraved brass plate on the inscribed on the inside. It was from my husband on our first ever Christmas together, way before we were married. 17 years later, it is still my most favourite gift, even though it is now scratched & has been drawn all over with texta!
A funny present was given to me from my husband! He wrapped up some very old gumboots (even had cobwebs inside them!) - I did need some gumboots - but that wasn't my present (thank goodness!) He had made a treasure hunt for me, starting with the boots and leading me all over the house, til I came upon a beautiful jewellery box, just for me! He's my treasure!
What a lovely giveaway, sorry to hear that you are sad. Just a suggestion..don't buy fish for presents. My daughter received a Siamese fighting fish the next day she rings me,...The fish is at the bottom of the tank.. I think it dead. What was i supposed to say. Not a good idea to give fish.
The weirdest gift I have ever been given was a leather clock from an old family friend for a wedding present - she'd made it herself a from the hide of one of her cows!! Love to enter your giveaway - arrived here via Curly Pops
hmmm i think the best pressies are the simple ones. This year i am putting together cooking kits with the school recipe book and gardening kits for the kids.Hopefully the will be recieved well! i love your work, pick me pick me!!
Don't be sad - it's the season to be jolly! I think sales are slow allover - people are looking but not buying. I love your work and would love to win. The present that came to mind was last year hubby bought me grey sheepskin car seat covers, with the promise of fitting them and cleaning/washing the car. Needless to say they only recently made it onto the seats! (not a fan of sheepskin!!!!)Will post on my blog
