Today was a nice relaxing day. I thought I should make something Christmasy... So I grabbed out a few things that had been hiding in my stash but I hadn't had the chance to use them. I got this face silicone mold from spotlight a while ago and was meaning to try it.

I also had some clay that doesn't need firing. So I just pushed the clay into the mold and made some little faces. This could be done with little xmas trees or pressies or stars etc.
Then I let them dry over night and today was the fun part:

When each one had a face I gave them all a coat of Mod Podge to seal and protect them. Then I cut out little hats from some groovy coloured paper and stuck them on.

I also went over the hats with Mod Podge and curled the ends over. The Mod Podge keeps them curled and makes them nice and shiny :)
