So here goes…
Hi, my name is Kris and I have an addiction to *Stationary*.
What’s in these photos is not even a pimple on the ginormous behind that is my addiction…
I know I have an addiction, I have all the symptoms:
- Every nook and cranny in my house has some form of writing/drawing implements stashed for easy access.
- I can’t walk past the stationary isle in the supermarket, I have to stand there and stare lovingly at every pen/pencil/texta until I decide which will come home with me {this time}
- I almost need to wear a bib in Smiggle to soak up all my drool.
- Stationary gets me more excited than going to any form of party/wedding.
It’s an addiction, I know, I should kick the habit.
But I kinda wanna stick to it, seeing as how it makes me deliriously happy!

Yep! I have that same addiction. I can't go anywhere near Officeworks without spending a fortune. Art Supply shops are even worse because they have the really cool and uber expensive pens and fineliners and sketch pads!
Roflol, you are not alone!!!! Back to school catalogues make great eye candy with all that 'loverly' stationary. I don't know what it is but it's a common 'fetish.' :-) Love, love, love coloured pencils & lot's of different coloured pens.
Oh me too! Journals, notebooks, paper, and pens call my name when I am in the store. Nice to know I am not alone.
You have taken the first step Kris, you have acknowledged you have a problem.
But what the heck, it is a healthy obsession, so stick with it!
I have the same problem with fabric........
Thank you for posting this!
It's always good to know I am not alone in this :)
But somehow I should figure out how to use all this lovely stationery ;)
