Today I swapped my sewing machine and glue gun for these!
We had a length of timber stud left over from building the wall for our new walk in robe, so I got a bit inspired by this site and decided to build me a table!
Yes it is skinny! I designed it to go behind our couch as we can't push it all the way back to the wall, thanks to the overly large and horrible fireplace! It's going to host a lamp and the remote controls... you know, so they can actually be found when we need them!
It took about 2 & 1/2 hours to get the bottom cut out and built, tomorrow I'll paint it white and get a nice top for it. This is the colours I'm going for:
Obviously not quite so lovely :)
But I can jazz it up a little with a cute model...
I'll post more photos when it's done!
