Wow, a week since the last post... whoops! We've all been hopelessly full up with the flu and basically in a comatose state. It's a pretty nasty one that gives you a horribly sore throat but not much outward sign that you're sick. Last weekend I completely lost my voice for 2 days- hideous for me as there's nothing I like better than talking, as anyone in my family will tell you :)
Both kids have been waking up several times during the night, therefore I can barely see through my bleary eyes! But mostly we're all better now and hanging out for the warmer weather.
Noah has been reaching out for things more and more. He loves these rings and every time he gets one has a little smile to himself :)

Aus might have his Mum's creative instincts, last week he painted a picture for his aunty for her birthday. He's a funny little creature of late. He brought me something the other day and I said thank you, his reply was 'your most welcome Mummy'. I was stunned at his manners all of a sudden! :)

And this is my new baby... my machine baby that is!
Oh yeah, $20 at the Bendigo market! The guy told me it still runs like a dream, I was skeptical but what the hey, it's only $20. So I brought her home and oh my god he didn't lie, she's oh so perfect! Just runs so smoothly and quietly. I'm in love :)

She's all metal and the brand is 'Regina-matic' (never heard of it before but it says made in Switzerland). It's a Zigzag embroidery machine and comes with the book and all these bits and bobs:

And about a million feet!

I have a feeling we are going to have a long and happy life together :)

This weekend was productive after getting over the flu. I didn't take any before shots but this is my cupboard in my studio now:

I took off all the doors and cut out a bit in the middle, then painted it all white and added some shelves. Now I have so much storage space it's amazing! My bench is clear of everything and I can breathe again!

I also love my ribbon hanger (the hanging rail that was already in the cupboard)

I've been doing a jewelery tree order too:

This one is made on an up-side-down goblet, I added little feet that I took off something else. It still needs a clean up but I'm sure the new owner will be happy when she gets it!

Hope your week is a positive and non-sickly one! Cheers!

Great idea to take the cupboard doors off in your craft room. The storage is fantastic now!
Yippee for $20 sewing machines.

So glad you are all recovering from such a nasty bug.

What a fantastic buy - $20 for a Swiss made machine in perfect working order - definitely a dream buy.

Your jewellery tree is coming along beautifully. I'm sure the recipient will love it.
