Is it possible to have too much lace?
*Scoff* No way!
But when one does have so much lace, one should find projects to do with it. I don't know if everyone already knows how to do this but I can't find any tutorials for it on the web. I wanted to make some pretty flowers for little clippies but quickly realised they could be used for anything. I used the same sort of idea as a tutorial I saw on how to make duck tape roses...

For this project you will need:
Continue around the middle gluing it back on itself every centimeter or so, like above. Try not to use too much glue but make sure it can't come apart.
Once you've decided your flower is as big as you want, cut off the lace and glue it down.
Tada! Pretty vintage lace flower.
There are heaps of different sorts of lace and they all turn out differently...

The blue and purple ones above are ribbons, if you use ribbon double it back more often than with the lace because it wont spread itself out like the lace does. The same goes for lace that isn't already ruffled like this one below. This one was actually a very wide piece of lace so I folded it over and went around on the fold, it turned out really well, with more volume.
Easy peasy lemon squeezy! Have fun and I'd like to see what you come up with if you make some! Enjoy!
